Victims of light EP

Marking a fresh step forward with their signature blend of synths and dark, dreamlike vocals, the new Violentene EP feels familiar, yet refined, confident and melodically icy-cool in its motives. Unafraid to explore the shadows but returning to radiance, “VoL” moves between the nostalgic, the melancholic, and the surreal, with distinctive vaporous rythms and a melody driven edge. Across the five new tracks, echoes of tension, release and balance unfold - ethereal melodies from Mvrijo’s vocals drift over liquid synths and finely detailed beats from Roland M., suggesting a melodic, other worldly and sophisticated maturity. “VoL” is tight in focus, widescreen in feel, and more assured than ever. The EP pulls together 3 singles released over the last months (“Savage City”, “Other Side of Eternity”, and “Victims of Light”) , completing the release with the unreleased “Overcome” and “Beginnings”. Violentene are thrilled to announce our new single+video “Victims Of Light” January 23, 2026!

The Canadian synth duo bring a darker, harder edge that builds steadily, then evaporates into beautiful, bittersweet ear candy. Vocalist Mvrijo explores the fringes of an emotional breakdown and forces that lay beyond our comprehension. As we are all drawn toward dark obsession, we ultimately become victims of clarity - and to the light.

Violentene has been working feverishly on new music, and this is the final single prior to the new EP of the same title - "Victims Of Light" EP drops in full March 2026!

Other side of eternity

Violentene are thrilled to announce our new single, “Other Side of Eternity” October 24, 2025!

The follow up single / video to "Savage City, “Other Side of Eternity” explores the challenges of loss, grieving and ultimately coming to terms with change, life and death - and finding hope on the other side.

Mvrijos intense, ethereal vocals are propelled by melancholic strings, deep, driving beats, all wrapped in 80s synths - dancing with tears in your eyes never felt so good…

After a long wait it's with pleasure Violentene announce our new single, "Savage City" dropping June 27!!

The new track explores the dark side of urban living and the mental - emotional toll it takes on us all, and the need for liberation from a city that never rests...
